The Finals were played on 2nd March at the Priory Inn

The Single final was a very close match going to the 5th frame, which was down to the Black.
The winner was Dan Shaw and Runner Up Mic Miles.

A truely Titanic Battle that had the spectators captivated. Congratulations to both players for a fantastic final that went down to the wire.

Sadly I don't have any photos of the Pairs Winners Kev and Ash or Runners-Up Jules and John

The Pairs & Singles final will be played on Thursday 2nd March at the Priory inn, 8:30 Start,
Pairs final first best of 3 frames. The Singles Final will follow but will be the best of 5 frames.

Singles KO Fixtures to be played on Thursday 09th February, best of 3 frames. Start time 8:30, if there is more than one fixture at a venue the second match will have to be played once the first has finished,

Pairs KO Fixtures to be played on Thursday 16th February, best of 3 frames. Start time 8:30, if there is more than one fixture at a venue the second match will have to be played once the first has finished,

 Draws for the Next Round of the Singles & Pairs took place at the Priory Inn a 8pm On Monday 9th January.

Pairs KO Fixtures are to be played on Thursday 19^th January 2023, Normal League Rules apply Scotch Doubles, best of 3 frames. Start time 8:30, if there is more than one fixture at a venue the second match will have to be played once the first has finished,

Scotch Doubles additional rules: Played as per the normal game and rules, yet the pair of players take alternate SHOTS each time a ball is played or potted – even at break or when 2 shots are granted.  
Example: - if you are on a team with Boris, and you pot a ball, your team’s visit continues, but Boris takes the next shot. You and Boris continue to rotate shots until one player misses. At this point, the other team’s visit begins. Players MUST alternate with partner.  If not played in turn this will be a foul and 2 shots to the opposing team: with normal foul rules applying.   Most importantly TALKING / DISCUSSING for team in play is NOT allowed between SHOTS (except after the break). TALKING / DISCUSSING can only be held between VISITS (when playing side changes) or when team is not in play at the table. 

I've miscalculated the weeks to get the Pairs & Singles rounds completed, therefore I've moved some of the dates forward.

There's now a spare week on Thursday 2nd of February to play any matches that needed rearranging.

Normal Start time of 8:30, if you have more than one match at home you discuss who plays the first match with the opponents

White Horse have confirmed that they have a Pool table now, I have updated the website with the Pubs new phone number.

The Singles KO has 17 entries, therefore Round One on Thursday 3rd November will be a Preliminary Round of one match to get down to 16 entries.

The Winter League 2022-2023 will commence on Thursday 13^th October 2022, any issues with the fixtures please contact me immediately. 

We only have 6 teams signed up so it’s going to be a short league. I’ve included space for Singles & Pairs KO.

Entry forms for Singles & Pairs KO have been sent as a link to google forms closing date Sunday 30th October, if we don’t have enough entries to cove the cost of separate trophies the Winners will just have their names engraved on the Singles KO Cup or the Pairs KO Winners Shield

 Important information for All Team Captains

The AGM took place on Thursday 22^nd September 2022 at the Priory Inn.

5 Team representatives attended.

The following changes were carried: -

1. A Team Must give at least 24 Hours’ Notice about rearranging a match, if not they forfeit the game.

2. The format of Singles and Gallon leagues will be change to a single table (League) 3 Singles, 3 Pairs and 4 Singles frames will still be played but all the frames count to the match result, therefore a match can result in a draw. If the Away team doesn’t have 6 players, then one Pairs match can be played by a player who has already played, that play is selected by random a random draw.

3. The Home Team must have 7 Players, they can’t randomly select for any frames, they forfeit any frame that they can’t field players for. The minimum number of players of an away match is 4, they can then play all 3 Pairs matches (by randomly selecting which two players play twice) and they can also select one player by random draw to play a singles frame, so effectively play 8 legs, the other two are forfeited to the home team.

4. We are still playing Scotch Double for the 3 Pairs frame.

5. It was proposed that all team look at “Black Ball Rules” for a possible change in the future. But Not for Now
